Huckabee says he would accept the support of the Log Cabin Republicans - "when you're in my position, you accept any support you can get." He says he would follow his principles, because the American people really want someone who stands by his principles, even if they aren't always popular.

An 18 year-old Kansas college student missing since Friday night may have been leading a double life as a porn star under the name Zoey Zane. Emily Sander, a student at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, was last seen leaving a bar just before midnight on Friday. Now it seems that Sander may have been working as an internet porn actress, though a close friend does not believe this is connected to her disappearance.

"I'm going up to the Spirit in the Sky - That's where I want to go when I die...", the words and music hum through the minds of anyone who has listened to top-40 radio in the past four decades. Music legend Norman Greenbaum penned and recorded the hit song "Spirit In The Sky" in late 1969, which rocketed to #1 in the U.S. and Great Britain. Named song of the year by Cashbox magazine in 1970, the single would go on to sell over two million copies.
Race-car driver Helio Castroneves upset Spice Girl Melanie Brown to capture the "Dancing With the Stars" mirrorball trophy on Tuesday night. "It will look so good between my two Indy 500 trophies," Castroneves said.
Log on tonight just after 8 for a sneak peek at who wins the finale of "Dancing with the Stars." The ABC couples dance show, which pairs celebs with professional dancers, has thrust fan favorite Marie Osmond, dancing with Jonathan Roberts, back into the spotlight. Will she take it all after her "doll" routine on Monday?
I feel at home at hip hop shows. I am in my element. I am around people who love the same kind of music I love. This past Wednesday night, however, for the first time in my show-going life I was at a hip hop show as an outsider. Nerdcore rap was something that I had only vaguely heard of, all I knew of it was rap with a whole lot of references to video games, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars, the Internet and comic books and oh yeah this MC Frontalot guy was considered the "Godfather" of it all.
Posting complaints about your neighbors is just one part of what's known as on-line shaming. In June, ABC7 told you about people who embarrass their friends and enemies on the web in our special segment "Cyber Smearing." Now, a cybersmearing site that attacks "rotten neighbors," is at 41 million users and counting.
A day earlier, Taylor and his girlfriend were awakened by loud noises at Taylor's Miami home, according to family friend Richard Sharpstein, who learned the details from Taylor's girlfriend, Jackie Garcia. He said Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection. Someone then broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor, Sharpstein said. Neither Taylor's daughter, Jackie, nor Taylor's girlfriend were injured in the attack.

Talk about turning lemons into lemonade! Prairie Tumbleweed Farm in Kansas has created a new gift idea by turning tumbleweeds, which are kind of like giant weedy hairballs of the prairie, into a popular holiday item. They are promoting tumbleweeds as a distinctive item that can be used as a decoration (plenty of space for lights, tinsel, etc.) or as a unique gift.
Cyber Monday was born in 2005 when a retail trade group coined the term to describe the surge in online shopping as workers returned to their cubicles the Monday after Thanksgiving eager to continue buying holiday gifts. Initially billed as one of the busiest online shopping days of the year, in fact, last year it didn't even make the top 10, according to ComScore Inc., a Reston, Va.-based firm that monitors online traffic.

Kevin DuBrow, frontman of metal legends Quiet Riot was found dead yesterday (November 25) in his Las Vegas home. The 52 year-old died of as-yet to be determined causes, drummer Frankie Banali said on his website. Banali's site now bears just the words: I can't even find words to say. Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friend Kevin DuBrow.
Shawn Taylor: well, if you're looking for the story on "Shawn" Taylor, the Washington Redskins player who was shot this morning, you'll do better to go here, to see the story on Sean Taylor (see, Sean, not Shawn Taylor?) the Washington Redskins player who was shot this morning. Got that? It's Sean, not Shawn Taylor?

"But God had his own plan," he told US talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Washington, 52, appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show alongside Forrest Whittaker to speak about new movie The Great Debaters.

Vision for a Free Hospital: Gesundheit Institute There would be no charge for the care. Future Gesundheit Hospital "...Barter was also not an option. In fact, we wanted to eliminate the idea of debt in the medical interaction as a way to begin recreating human community. We didn't want people to think they owed something; we wanted them to think they belonged to something..."

Up until a few years ago I had never seen a Snow Leopard (Panthera uncia) in captivity, but the Bronx Zoo has had great success in keeping the big cats as well as breeding them. In addition to taking in "Leo," a male Snow Leopard on loan from Pakistan, on June 7, 2006 the adult female Mei Mei gave birth to two females, one of which is pictured above

CNN put Hillary supporter James Carville on its debate roundup -- prompting critics to point out that the network failed to identify her sufficiently as a Hillary supporter and that the network has been giving a platform to Hillary-backing "independent" analysts for way too long. Well, guess who is now set to appear on Meet the Press this coming weekend? Hillary supporter James Carville, of course.

As I was leaving a comment for my daughter on her MySpace, I noticed a little section she had added that listed things in her life that she wouldn't trade for anything. She had things like racing horses down the beach with her best friends, ACS (Methodist Youth Conference) and Thanksgiving with her whole family. I smiled as I read the list of moments in her life that she wouldn't trade for anything. Those moments in our lives are what Thanksgiving is about. It's not about whether the turkey is perfect or if the pie is right. Usually at our house, the turkey is done when the smoke alarm goes off. myspace thanksgiving comments
Mr Darling may think that, even when a mega-blunder occurs, a Chancellor of the Exchequer need not consider his position, but Times columnists take our responsibilities more seriously. Were anyone bitten by a bat to die of rabies on account of reading this column last week and taking my advice not to bother seeing a doctor, I would feel honour-bound to resign. So I had better cover myself.
The situation also means the once-tough-talking Spitzer, now widely considered by his fellow Democrats as "the Typhoid Mary of politics" because of the political damage done to them by his massively unpopular plan to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens, has entered a desperate new phase of his first year in office - one in which he rejects the advice of his own financial professionals in order to curry favor with the voters.
This poster which was prepared and released by the Holloway family after their daughter Natalee went missing is seen in this image originally made available by the Holloway family Friday, June 3, 2005. Dutch teenager Joran van der Sloot and two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 on suspicion of involvement in manslaughter and causing seriously bodily harm that caused the death in 2005 of American teenager Natalee Holloway, the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
It was Sept. 28 and I was late too late to score a lunch reservation at American Girl Place for any weekend from mid-November to mid-December. This was a problem. Our trip to the American Girl mega-complex on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan had become a tradition in our family _ something my daughters and, yes, even me, really looked forward to as a way to kick off the holidays. If I think about it rationally, I shouldn't like it so much. It's too expensive, it's too crowded, it's too ridiculous to think about scores of girls lined up for their turn to watch their dolls get their hair styled at the AG Salon for $20 - and perhaps a facial scrub (for the dolls) too.

Now that I have bashed 'Bama a bit, I will remind anyone who has forgotten that the Iron Bowl (Alabama at Auburn) is this weekend. No matter what these two team's records are, this is one of the great rivalries in all of college football. If you have the chance, you should really watch it. Alabama aught to be mad as heck, and there is just no telling what will happen.

On the verge of an unseemly collapse, Ochoa wrapped up a sensational season with what she called the best shot of her career. Clinging to a one-shot lead over Natalie Gulbis, who was already on the green 15 feet away for birdie, Ochoa hit 6-iron that rolled 30 inches from the cup for one final birdie.

On July 2, 1974, I started work as deputy Washington bureau chief for Rolling Stone magazine. (the owner was in Hyannis for the summer). On July 3, Hunter Thompson joined us.

Now two Emory alums have utilized this trend of point-and-click quizzes in a more timely, and presumably more productive, manner. Designed by Emory alums Alex Jacobs (05C) and Ivan Kanevski (05C), the website Glassbooth.org helps users determine which presidential candidate for 2008 best represents their viewpoints.
She has a canine tooth, premolar and molar in all four areas of the mouth. That was quite a change from last week to this week. Although the cub will grow all her teeth in the next month or two, giant panda cubs do not change to a bamboo diet until they are 1 year old, according to zoo officials. Until then, cubs are nourished by their mother's milk and only sample bamboo.

Consider the innings pitched by the top two pitchers on each team in the collegiate softball championship. Arizona, the national champion, had just two pitchers throwing during the season. One threw 370 innings; the other threw 70 innings. Runner-up Tennessee also used two pitchers. One threw 314 innings, the other threw 111 innings. Arizona's Taryne Mowatt, the only pitcher used in the playoffs, pitched the final eight games in a single week.

MATT DAMON has been named the ''sexiest man alive'' by People magazine, an honor that has been bestowed twice on his pals George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The 37-year-old actor is featured on the cover of People's annual issue, on newsstands Friday. Damon, who is married to Luciana Bozan, said the honor came as a surprise.
